OK fellow star watchers –there is no doubt that we are living in interesting times. On Tuesday, November 8th, the stars will give us another magnificent example of just how interesting the times can be. What we are looking at is:
- This is a Full Moon in Taurus conjunct (right next to) the North Node. The North Node is hungry energy. It represents our evolutionary direction of growth and optimization.
- When the Moon is conjunct either the South or North Node, we have an eclipse. Generally, we have between 4 and 6 eclipses each year. This eclipse, however, is a Total Lunar Eclipse which is extra powerful and impactful.
- The Full Moon in Taurus is also conjunct the planet Uranus – the planet of sudden, unexpected change. Uranus has an electric quality that can foretell shocking, disruptive, revolutionary events.
- The Full Moon, North Node, and Uranus are all opposite The Sun conjunct both the South Node and the planet Mercury in the sign of Scorpio. Mercury is the messenger of the gods and in Scorpio he may bring information that has been intentionally buried or withheld.
- This Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse is happening on Election Day in the U.S.
This configuration suggests sudden, explosive (Uranus), dramatic, and possibly unpleasant (Scorpio), information (Mercury) being revealed (Full Moon) in order that our worn-out life choices can be released (South Node) and new, innovative choices embraced (North Node.)
Every celestial event has both a mundane (out there happening in world to everyone who lives on Earth) and a personal (interacting with each of our natal charts and therefore our individual lives in unique ways) meaning.
Let’s get together on Zoom tomorrow, Saturday, 05 November 2022, at 10:00 am PT and talk about how this event may show up for us both personally and collectively.
